Cancellations and No-Shows
With a reservation, a member of our staff has committed to serve you during that time. If you cannot keep your appointment, we respectfully request that you give 24-48 hour notice. This allows us to service other clients who have requested appointments. Effective April 2019, Centre Cuts has instituted a $25 NO-Show fee or cancellation less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. This fee will be collected at the next visit to our salon and spa.
Services
Arriving late for an appointment may require us to reschedule you or shorten the length of your service.
If after any service you are not completely satisfied, please call to speak with your technician or management. Centre Cuts allows a 7 day window after a service to have a complimentary adjustment to the original REQUESTED service. There are no refunds on services.
Returned Checks
All returned checks will be charged a $10 processing fee.
Booking Color Services
To serve you best, all new color service requests will require an in-person consultation prior to booking your appointment. At the consultation, the stylist will discuss your desired look, condition of your hair, the involved process, timing, and estimated cost. Please bring a photograph of what you would like to accomplish with your hair. Both you and your stylist deserve to understand what will be expected and to be prepared to achieve your desired look.
Gratuities
Giving a gratuity is a personal choice. The standard gratuity is 18-20% of the services rendered. We can allow up to a $30 tip on a PERSONAL CHECK OR DEBIT CARD. Additional gratuities over $30 may be paid in CASH or a personal check made out directly to your technician.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are available in any denomination and are redeemable for service and retail purchases only (unused balances cannot be used towards gratuities.) When purchased over the phone, gift cards can be mailed for an additional charge of $3.00. There are no refunds on gift cards. Funds are non-transferable.
Returns
G.M. Collin & AVEDA
There are no returns for G.M. Collin or AVEDA product that is used or disliked. The salon will only accept a return if the user of the product purchased has a documented allergic reaction within 14 days while using the product according to the product specifications.
If a product is unopened and unused, we will gladly refund your original form of payment. We will accept a return within 14 days.
Our technicians will gladly assist you prior to purchasing any products. Most products from AVEDA and G.M. Collin can be sampled. We have premade samples from the companies, and Centre Cuts can make you a sample. You also can sample products throughout your salon services – please ask your technician at the beginning of your appointment if you wish to do so.
All purchases need to be recorded, at the time of purchase, with a name/initials as well as a phone number in order for us to find the original transaction. If you choose not to give your name and number, we will not be able to find the transaction and therefore cannot issue a refund.
Boutique Items
All items are inspected for defects prior to being put out on the floor for purchase, if you inspect an item and find a defect after you purchase it, the case will only be considered if the salon receives notification within 24 hours of purchase and if the item is brought back within 7 days.
Return for reasons of wrong size, color, change of mind, will be refunded only if the following applies:
Tags on
Not worn/used
As new condition
Not broken
Brought back within 14 days
If an item meets these criteria, we will gladly refund your original form of payment. If it is over 14 days and less than 60 days, we will give store credit -15% of the original price.
All clearance items, or items reduced by 25% or more, are final sale and not eligible for a refund.
