Terry Fitzgerald

Terry began her career over 42 years ago after graduating from the Wilfred Academy. She founded Centre Cuts in 1980, in Jamaica Plain, MA, later moving to the current location in Roslindale. As an owner, Terry takes pride in creating a small business built with the principles of providing great customer service, hiring talented technicians, and providing an inviting space for both her clients and staff. It has been extremely rewarding for Terry to be able to facilitate the development and growth of the salon and spa, meet client needs and to mentor her staff to grow professionally. Being close to home, working in a tight knit supportive community, makes Roslindale a great place to work and live! Terry enjoys being able to shop locally, where she can pick up most of what she needs right in the neighborhood! In her spare time, Terry enjoys spending time with her husband Charlie, family and friends as well as any occasion with good food and wine!

Edna O’Malley
Senior Stylist | Owner
Edna attended Mansfield Academy and began her career at Centre Cuts in 1986. Showing leadership qualities early on, Edna accepted a partnership and soon joined Terry with the management of the salon. Edna specializes in hair cutting and finish work for both men and women. Additionally, Edna has continued to advance her knowledge in AVEDA Color Theory and is a superb colorist. As Floor Manager, Edna supervises the staff and day to day operations. As a resident of Roslindale, Edna loves working with her colleagues and servicing a broad range of clientele. In her spare time Edna enjoys her family, the gym and finding a bargain!
Teresa Cosenza
Senior Stylist
Teresa graduated from Blaine Hair Academy in 1987 and joined the staff in 1998 the same year Centre Cuts relocated to Roslindale. The “Curl Whisperer”, Teresa is certified in the DEVA CURL CUTTING METHOD, and specializes in cutting curly hair. Holding certification in AVEDA Color Theory and continuing her education each year Teresa also specializes in natural looking hair coloring and fine weave high and low lights and men’s hair cutting. A resident of Roslindale, Teresa loves her clients and being able to have a small part in making them feel good about how they look.
Miranda Cavo
Senior Stylist
Miranda, an accountant prior to becoming a stylist, graduated Bojack Academy in 2002. Miranda arrived in the USA on July 4th 1997. Miranda is a very talented versatile stylist specializing in color. Certified in AVEDA Color Theory, Miranda continues to educate herself in color theory bringing the most recent color trends for her clients. Besides coloring, she is talented in cutting, bridal and special occasion styling and men’s cuts. Miranda is a resident of Dedham. She loves being able to help build up the clients confidence by making them look handsome and beautiful both inside and out. Miranda loves working in the vibrant and supportive community of Roslindale.
Patricia Donnelly
Esthetician | Sales Support
Trish is our Esthetician known for her “outstanding facials” is also a specialist in total body waxing services. A graduate of Elizabeth Grady, she has been practicing her craft since 2004. Strong in customer service, Trish joined the staff at Centre Cuts in 2007 and brings the highest level of customer service to her clientele and all whom she encounters. Fully knowledgeable in AVEDA SKIN CARE, Trish not only will take care of your skin care needs through facials; she will prescribe a daily skin care regime to keep your skin healthy and looking its best! In her spare time Trish enjoys spending her spare time with family.
Frances Burke
Sales Support
Frances started her second career when she joined our team in 2018. A former manager at Empower Retirement, Boston; Frances brings top notch customer service skills and a great sense of humor to the front desk. Originally from Jamaica Plain, Frances now resides in West Roxbury. A delight to encounter upon entering our salon & spa, Frances enjoys a good laugh, Zumba, and traveling.
Emma O’Brien
Sales and Salon Support
At the present time Emma is working full time as an Auto Technician and works with us on the weekends in Sales Support. She graduated from Norfolk Aggie County Agricultural High School in 2021. Emma joined the staff in the summer of 2018 and has mastered the running of the front desk and delivers the best in customer service. Multi-talented, Emma is most helpful supporting the entire staff and works with Terry behind the scenes attending to many tasks. A Roslindale Resident, Emma’s goals include owning her own Mechanic Shop. Her hobbies include Dance, Hockey, Softball and working on her own car.
Giovanna Ragusa
Sales and Salon Support
Giovanna joined our salon and sales support team in the summer of 2018. A natural when conversing, Giovanna settled in comfortably to her role at Sales Support, giving great customer service and scheduling appointments. Presently enrolled at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, she is on target to graduate in 2023. ”G” loves to dance, enjoys listening to music and cooking. Lucky for us, Giovanna works at the salon when she is on school breaks and holidays.
Samara & Kayla
Sales and Salon Support
Kayla (right) joined the Sales Support team at the start of summer 2021. Very confident and efficient, she has learned to navigate our POS system very quickly. Always eager to step up to the plate, you will find Kayla performing numerous tasks throughout the work day. She is set to graduate high school in 2025. Her hobbies include swimming, water coloring, and she bakes a mean creme brulee.
Samara (left) started her position with the Sales Support team in July of 2022. In her first working position, we are happy to have her join our staff. Quietly, Samara carries out the many duties that the Sales Support position is responsible for. Her hobbies include going to the movies (one of her favorites is “Love and Basketball”), collecting Jordans, and shopping. Samara will also graduate from high school in 2025 and she is very interested in working in the medical field.
